Dr Jay Jindal, Au.D.
Audiology Planet is the brainchild of our Consultant Audiologist Dr Jay Jindal. Jay has a passion for audiology and improving clinical healthcare.
He holds a doctoral degree, which is the highest level of qualification for this clinical field. With extensive years of practice in leading-edge audiology clinics within both the NHS and private domains, his unique expertise is reflected in his work and his stature within the audiology community. Having trained and mentored numerous audiologists both domestically and internationally,
Jay garners widespread recognition as a foremost audiology expert within the nation. He is a sought-after speaker and is invited to various audiology events in UK and abroad.
Shina Desai
Shina Desai is a specialist audiologist with over 10 years of experience in adult and paediatric audiology within the NHS. With a Master’s degree in Audiological Science from University College London, she offers expert care through comprehensive hearing assessments, diagnostic testing, and hearing aid management for patients of all ages.
Shina is committed to providing personalised solutions and educating patients about hearing health, with a strong focus on the importance of early detection. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her two children.
Thomas Wright
Tom qualified as a physiotherapist in 2012 from Brighton University. With over a decade of experience, he has worked across a variety of specialties, including neurological, orthopaedic, respiratory, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Tom has a special interest in vestibular rehabilitation and has played a key role in developing services for patients experiencing dizziness and vertigo in East Sussex.
Currently, Tom serves as the Chairperson of the Association of Physiotherapists Interested in Vestibular Rehab (ACPIVR), providing expert care and support to patients with dizziness-related conditions. He is passionate about helping clients regain their quality of life through evidence-based care.
Finance Manager
Tina Bansal
Tina Bansal is our financial maestro. She handles all commercial operations and invoicing at our audiology clinic. As our dedicated Account Manager, Tina ensures that every aspect of our financial transactions is meticulously managed and flawlessly executed.
Tina’s attention to detail and dedication to accuracy are the cornerstones of our financial operations. From managing invoices to addressing finance-related queries, Tina's role is indispensable in ensuring the smooth financial journey for both our clinic and our valued clients. In-House Osteopath
Mark Pitcairn Knowles
Mark is an accomplished Osteopath and often helps with our clients who have musculoskeletal issues needing to be looked after. Be it vertigo related problem or unilateral hearing issue causing neck pain (yes! you can develop a neck pain if you are having to turn your head towards the sounds), we have help available in-house.
As an Athlete he has been part of the Men’s 50 age group Tonbridge AC team that won the South of England Road Relays at Bedford in 2016 and is part of the Masters Track and Field team that has reached the South East area finals in 2017 and 2018 before winning in 2019.

Kirsty, Nicki and Josh
At Audiology Planet, our reception team is the heart of the client experience—bringing warmth, efficiency, and genuine care to every visit. Kirsty has been managing the Springbank House clinic in Sevenoaks since 2007. Her friendly demeanour, attention to detail, and deep commitment to supporting each individual make her an invaluable presence at the front desk. Nicki also welcomes clients at our Sevenoaks location with her vibrant personality and cheerful energy. She has a natural ability to put people at ease, ensuring everyone is greeted with a warm smile and a positive atmosphere. Josh supports our Tunbridge Wells clinic, handling various aspects of day-to-day operations. Her calm and professional approach ensures a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors.
