Locations: Sevenoaks & Royal Tunbridge Wells (42 Grosvenor Road) – with travel required to future regional clinic locations across Kent as our independent practice expands.
Position Type: Full-Time preferred (Part-Time considered).
Salary: £25,000 to £30000 pro rata

The Opportunity & Travel Requirements
We are seeking an enthusiastic, UK-based Assistant Audiologist / Hearing Care Assistant (HCA) to join our progressive team. This position is ideally suited to an ambitious individual currently based in Tunbridge Wells or the surrounding Kent area who is eager to grow clinically in a supportive, science-focused environment.
Because we operate split-site clinical days and have active plans to open future regional clinic locations across Kent, the successful candidate must have a driver’s licence and the willingness to travel regularly between clinic sites.
Key Responsibilities & Clinical Scope
Working side-by-side with our senior clinicians, you will manage the patient rehabilitation journey and receive structured training across an advanced adult audiology caseload:
Patient Care & Aftercare: Handle routine audiology support, including hearing aid troubleshooting, cleaning, re-tubing, and minor clinical repairs.
Patient Journey Support: Guide patients and families on the correct use, maintenance, and realistic expectations of their hearing devices.
Diagnostic Assistance: Support lifestyle profiling, needs assessments, and the preparation of advanced equipment (including REMs and soundfield systems).
Clinic Operations: Manage clinical stock, maintain high hygiene standards, and oversee equipment calibration logs.
Specialist Progression: Opportunity for structured training pathways into microsuction earwax removal, paediatric support, tinnitus therapy, and vestibular management.
What We Are Looking For (Person Specification)
Qualifications: A BSA/BSHA-approved HCA certificate is preferred. However, we will gladly consider individuals with a strong healthcare foundation or equivalent clinical customer-facing experience who have a genuine hunger to learn.
Mobility: Full flexibility and capability to travel between current and future clinic locations.
Skills: Strong, empathetic communication, a patient-first mindset, and the scientific thinking required to work in a multidisciplinary medical framework.
