This 2-day paediatric audiology course is our the most popular annual course. This year we will be hosting the course ONLINE. We will cover all aspects of advanced paediatric audiology to develop skills and confidence in assessment and fitting hearing instruments to children.

The focus of the event will be on holistic approach to paediatric amplification. Key discussion topics will be in the following areas:

• On 25th June, Dr Marlene Bagatto of University of Western Ontario (Canada) will be delivering lectures on optimising the amplification via verification and validation of hearing devices. This includes demo of 1) Measuring the RECD; 2) Setting a hearing aid in the ear; 3) Setting a hearing aid in the coupler; 4) Using aided SII values; 5) Assessing aided bandwidth
• On 27th June, we will have Dr Josephine Marriage and Dr Jay Jindal who will cover the topics in paediatric assessment, including the demo of otoacoustic emissions and visual reinforcement audiometry (demo by patient videos). VRA peer-review process will also be covered along with the conditioned play audiometry.

FEES:

The course is going to be covered in two full day online meetings. The reduction in the venue cost due to the online delivery model, will be passed to the delegates so, the early bird fee for the whole course is only £300 +VAT and fee for individual days is £150 +VAT.
